I hope to god that isn't the base Fallout 4 Assault rifle but rather some insanely modded form, otherwise it'll be one of the first things I get a mod-change for. I could see if it were some sort of high power/frequency energy weapon (ergo the "industrial" model P94's, FO3/NV Gauss Rilfes, etc.), but honestly, I don't understand why it is that in SciFi, future = large disproportionate gun(s).
Hey, I just wanted to pop in to say that I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought this design looked absurd. That is indeed FO4's incarnation of the assault rifle, though I'm pretty sure that this not the base/default barrel for it. The same goes for AVS-36 automatic rifle (USSR, 1936 ) and even Fyodorov automatic rifle (Russian Empire, 1916 (sic) ) - Terran Ghost ( talk) 00:17, J(UTC) Is that ( ) picture really of Fallout 4 assault rifle? If yes, I am disappointed since the design is really bad - it is to heavy and cumbersome to be used as an assault rifle (aside from the fact the design is heavily influenced by Lewis Machnine Gun - an early design, weighing 12 kg and obsolete already during the beginning of WW2)įor comparison the first "true" assault rifle - the StG-44 (Germany, 1944, ) is considerable smaller.
