Hi in POI-factory! I have a Nokia 6110 Navigator Mobil phone with onboard GPS. In other words, i am thinking to have a Mandarin-chinese voice file where it will said in chinese but the roads would be in english. There are lots of web sites that you can download voices just search yahoo or other using.vpm garmin files you will find for 350 are lots of voices i even found Mandarin-chinese which i was looking for it but the only downside is that i was looking TTS cant find Mandarin-chinese TTS yet also i found A small voice program that you can split the VPM voice files and it will convert it to WAV files but it only works on Non-TTS vpm files if anyone had tried to join a Non-TTS voice vpm file to a TTS voice vpm file? If your 'redlight' file is named redlight.csv then name the mp3 redlight.mp3 and put them in the same folder. There are plenty of free wav to mp3 or cd to mp3 converters. Edit part of a CD or search for sound bytes, sound bites or sound boards for Homer Simpson or Mr T or king kong. However, why not record your own voice, or someone else's voice. you type something and it creates a wav or mp3 file for you.
